Regent University Donor Funded Scholarships

These scholarships are university-wide and offered through the generosity of donors. They include the Azusa Street Scholarship and Beazley Scholarship, which cover 100% of tuition costs plus a book stipend of up to $300 per term. The Dooner Scholarship covers a maximum of 50 percent of tuition costs, while the Luther J. Stallings Jr. Scholarship, John G.C. Miller Scholarship and Clarence L. Graduates of the Regent University College of Arts & Sciences enjoy access to this special scholarship program. Church Matching Grant Program

Regent University matches your church or ministry’s contribution to your education, dollar-for-dollar, up to $750 per semester. For fall, spring, and summer enrollment, you may be eligible to receive $1,500 from Regent University in conjunction with your church or ministry’s gift!

Corporate Partners Program

Regent University offers educational benefits to its corporate partners.  Employees–and their spouses and dependents–receive a discount off the cost of tuition for associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs at Regent. In addition, employees of partner organizations have access to company-based tuition reimbursements, Regent grants and student loans. Military and Veteran Discounts

Regent University has partnered with the Veterans Affairs (VA) Administration to offer the Yellow Ribbon Program Scholarship to students with 100% eligibility under the Post-9/11 GI Bill®. The Yellow Ribbon Program at Regent will cover 100% of tuition and fees over the Post-9/11 GI Bill® yearly tuition cap (50% funded by Regent University and 50% funded by the Department of Veterans Affairs.) Regent offers significant military and veteran college benefits in the form of tuition discounts and bookstore vouchers. These are available to both undergraduate and graduate military and veteran students who are pursuing a certificate or degree program and are in good academic standing. We are also honored to support the education of military spouses as a Military Spouse Career Advancement Account (MyCAA) school.

College Scholarships

We offer exciting scholarship opportunities such as freshmen merit-based scholarships of up to $40,000 in value, merit scholarships, honors college scholarships, the $10,000 Freedom Scholarship, $4,000 Homeschool Scholarship, $4,000 Private School Scholarships, and more.

Pell Grant For Undergraduate Students

Regent University participates in the Federal Pell Grant Program for undergraduate students. You can get an award up to $6,495 through the grant (2021-22).

Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant (VTAG)

Virginia provides the Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant to all U.S. citizens who are residents of Virginia and attending private institutions in the Commonwealth. The amounts may vary and are mostly for undergraduate students. Students in certain undergraduate religion and philosophy degrees are not eligible.

Virginia Community College Transfer Grant

Undergraduate students can apply for the Virginia Community College Transfer Grant. It is a grant from the Commonwealth of Virginia to U.S. citizens who are residents of Virginia and graduated from a Virginia Community College. The standard award is $1000 per year ($500 per term), while students enrolled in engineering, mathematics, nursing, teaching or science can gain an additional $1000 a year.

Find Your Voice Scholarship Competition

Regent University is launching its new Institute for Music and Worship. To celebrate, we are announcing the Find Your Voice Scholarship Competition. Four students will be awarded a four-year, full scholarship to Regent University in Virginia Beach to major in music and sing with The Regent University Singers.

The Teach Grant Program

The TEACH Grant Program awards grants to students who intend to teach. At Regent, the grant applies to specific undergraduate majors and to the School of Education graduate programs. It provides up to $4,000 a year in grant aid. In turn, you must agree to serve as a full-time teacher in a high-need field in a school serving low-income students for at least four academic years within eight years of completing your program.

Virginia Teaching Scholarship Loan Program

Subject to available funding, these scholarship loans are for teacher candidates, including graduate students and paraprofessionals from Virginia school divisions. Candidates must be enrolled at least part-time in an approved undergraduate or graduate program leading to an endorsement in a critical shortage area as annually established by the Board of Education. At Regent, this scholarship loan applies to School of Education students.

School of Business & Leadership Financial Aid

Regent University has many forms of financial aid available, including scholarships, grants, tuition discounts for the military and federal student loan program participation.

School of Communication Financial Aid

Many forms of financial aid are available, ranging from third-party scholarships, low-interest federal and private loans, university scholarships, grants, employer reimbursements, and others.

School of Divinity Scholarships

Regent University’s School of Divinity offers various scholarships for academic merit and demonstrated financial need, and others with specific qualifications. These include the John C. Wright Ministerial Scholarship, Lindvall’s Chaplain’s Scholarship and Rev. Peter Popoff Scholarship for Evangelism & Missions.

The school also offers the Alumni and Pastors Continuing Education Program to support further education of pastors who are graduates of the School of Divinity.

School of Education Scholarships

Regent University’s School of Education offers participation in the Selig Fellowship Program to promising Ed.S. – Educational Specialist in Educational Leadership and doctoral students. The fellow receives a 100% tuition scholarship and a stipend.

As noted earlier, the TEACH Grant and Virginia Teaching Scholarship Loan Program are also available for graduate students at the School of Education.

Robertson School of Government Scholarships

The Robertson School of Government offers a variety of endowed scholarships. Many of these awards have specific criteria. Notification for these scholarships are emailed to students, so regularly check your student email.

If you wish to apply for university-wide endowed scholarships, separate applications are required.

School of Law Scholarships

The School of Law offers a number of endowed scholarships as well as the Dean’s Scholarship, full-tuition Regent Law Scholar Award, and alumni and military discounts. Most endowments entail specific criteria, and the law school will give an award based on academic standing and demonstrated leadership.

School of Psychology & Counseling Scholarships

Regent University’s School of Psychology & Counseling offers scholarships such as the Academic Merit Scholarship, Minority Student Merit Scholarship (up to $10,000 per year), First Generation Merit Scholarship (up to $10,000 per year), Christian Leadership Scholarship (up to $10,000 per year), and teaching assistantships (Up to $7,500 for one year).

Scholarships for Online UNDERGRADUATE Students

Online students of Regent’s College of Arts & Sciences can apply for scholarships like the Virginia Community College Award, North Carolina Community College Award, and ROTC Award.
