Yes, Regent University is fully accredited, for online and on-campus classes. We are accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Our online undergraduate degrees and online graduate programs provide the recognition you need to shine.

New sessions start every eight weeks at Regent. Applications are due two weeks prior to the start of each session. Your decision and enrollment deposit are due two weeks prior to the start of class. Read more about specific information regarding application deadlines.

Since Regent makes use of computer software and the internet to communicate with students and enhance its courses, all students are expected to have a computer. All students who use personal computers or laptops must meet the minimum standards regarding hardware, software and internet access.

Online courses are available through Canvas, Regent’s web-based classroom. Students access Canvas through a web browser, where they view course material, interact with faculty and students and submit assignments online. Most of our online graduate and online undergraduate degrees are designed so that students don’t have to be online on specific days or at specific hours. Learn more about our online classes.

To get a copy of your high school transcript, contact your local high school office.

Once received, applications and transcripts are reviewed within 48 hours.

Course descriptions are provided on the program page for each degree. They also can be found in the university catalog.

It is possible to transfer up to 90 credits.

We work on a normal 16-week semester. However, we break the semester up into two convenient eight-week sessions. This allows our students the opportunity to focus more attention on class and coursework. Usually, a student takes two courses per eight-week session.

If a transcript is 10 years or older, we do not automatically accept those credits. However, you may file an academic petition to see if your credits can be transferred. Contact Admissions for assistance.

First, review Regent’s academic catalog for the year that you started to make sure you have fulfilled all academic course requirements (your Academic Advisor can assist with questions). Secondly, follow the steps to register for Graduation.

First, review the semester schedule. Secondly, write down the CRNs for the dates and times that work for you. Lastly, begin class registration in Genisys. Learn more about how to register for classes.

Financial Aid is not applicable toward certificates or professional development courses.
