Decision Height
By Meredith Dayna Levy
Directed by Kay Lynn Perry
October 4-6 & 11-13, 2024
Dede Robertson Theatre
Just as patriotic as the men, these women pilots are determined to do their part in America’s World War II efforts. Called WASPs, they volunteer for the logistics flights stateside to free up the male pilots for overseas action. From basic training to deployment, they must prove their mettle. Married or single, rich or poor, and from all corners of the US, the women form a bond of sisterhood that unites them, despite their differences. They come to love each other, and you’ll fall in love with them too.

Babette’s Feast
Conceived and developed by Abigail Killeen. Written by Rose Courtney. Adapted from the short story by Isak Dinesen.
Directed by April Poland
November 22-24 & December 6-8, 2024
Studio Theatre
In a snowy Norwegian hamlet, two spinster sisters uphold their pious heritage among a cast of icy, joyless villagers. When they welcome the mysterious Babette, a refugee fleeing the Paris Commune of 1871, she serves up a magical feast that will forever warm their hearts and transform their community. BABETTE’S FEAST is a deeply imaginative, whimsical tale of grace and second chances that will leave you eager to embrace the holidays this season.

When radio was a newfangled technology, what did it take to gain an audience? Leon is desperate to sell radios, but he must provide content. He discovers David in Nebraska, whose homespun tales of growing up as a hobo riding the rails take radio listeners by storm. As the industry grows, so does David’s fame, and the nation becomes obsessed with finding Frankie, the blind girl, his traveling companion. When they are reunited, the sparks reignite, and who knows what new adventures await?

In this beloved musical, young Maria takes up the challenge of raising the von Trapp children – all seven of them, with their governess-frightening antics. Romance and singing take center stage, with a backdrop of growing political unrest. When the Nazis take over Austria, the family makes a risky escape. Featuring some of our favorite songs like “Do Re Mi,” “So Long, Farewell,” and “Climb Ev’ry Mountain,” The Sound of Music continues to delight audiences with its humor, suspense, and inspiring story.
