His work experience includes school-based drug and drop-out prevention, delinquency counseling (residential and community based), residential drug treatment, private practice, adoption, and church-based counseling. He has also served as a youth pastor and high school Bible teacher. Robbie earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in psychology at Palm Beach Atlantic University in South Florida and has earned professional licensure in Florida (LMHC) and Virginia (LPC). Scheduling Appointments

To provide extra care and precaution to the patient and the provider, please call the Health Center to schedule an appointment at 757.352.4953.

A nurse practitioner is available to all on-campus students, including those residing in campus housing and commuters (both undergraduate and graduate) who require minor healthcare services on campus. The nurse practitioner can provide a higher level of care than a nurse and has the authority to write prescriptions. A portion of the University Services Fees for on-campus students grants students the ability to visit the Health Center as often as necessary. Students can access physician partners nearby on Providence Road at Sentara Family Medicine Physicians if additional care is needed. Please note: allergy shots cannot be administered on campus.

Visit The Health Center, virtually or in-person, if you have any of the following symptoms:

  • Cold & Flu
  • Fever
  • Ear Infection

  • Cough
  • Other Minor Injuries/Illnesses

The Health Center is open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday. The last appointment time for new patients is 4:30 p.m. The last appointment time for current patients requiring a follow-up visit is 4:45 p.m. The center is closed when the university is closed for various holidays, including Christmas break when the university shuts down during emergency closures due to weather or other unexpected events.

Students and employees who may need to be tested for COVID-19 during the academic year must contact the University Health Center in advance to schedule an appointment and receive further instructions. Please call 757.352.4953 to schedule an appointment with the nurse practitioner. The Health Center’s operating hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday and is located at the Regent Commons residence halls. INCLEMENT WEATHER

When the University is closed because of inclement weather, the shuttle will not be in service. If the University has a delayed opening, the shuttle will begin operating 20 minutes prior to the opening time and will run for one hour. After that, the shuttle will resume its regular schedule. If the University closes early, every effort will be made to run the shuttle for 40 minutes (two loops around campus) at the time of closure. Our ability to run the shuttle at the time of early closure is dependent on driver availability and safe driving conditions. If the driving conditions become unsafe, shuttle service will be stopped immediately.

All requests are subject to driver and vehicle availability. Regent Shuttles hold a maximum of 15 passengers, including the driver.

A Regent Shuttle employee must drive the shuttle for the event requested. For requests involving multiple trips, please contact the Shuttle Coordinator directly at shuttle-service@regent.edu.
