Healthcare management, or healthcare administration, is the leadership and management of healthcare systems and entities. Healthcare management can involve overseeing healthcare networks in various areas or managing processes in one place, like a hospital or medical department.1
Healthcare managers share many functions with managers from other industries. They track progress toward goals, increase efficiency by communicating with team members and coordinate to ensure the team can complete the essential functions.
