Regent University Welcomes Chris Lambert as Vice President for Advancement
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (September 1, 2020) – Dr. M.G. “Pat” Robertson, founder, chancellor & CEO of Regent University, announced today that the university has appointed Chris Lambert, J.D., CFRE, to the role of vice president for advancement.
In his new role, Lambert will provide leadership for services related to the advancement of Regent University and will be responsible for university-wide fund development efforts, including annual fund initiatives, corporate and foundation relations, planned and deferred giving, and special events. Lambert will supervise the departments of Advancement, Alumni Relations and Special Events.

Lambert has more than 23 years of experience in higher education fundraising and wealth planning. He served as vice president of advancement at Bethany College and interim vice president of philanthropy at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, overseeing all fundraising, alumni engagement, and advancement marketing for more than 150,000 alumni collectively.
Lambert holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Frostburg State University. He is a Certified Fundraising Executive and a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
“Following law school and having spent over a dozen years in wealth management and private banking, I yearned for something more,” Lambert said. “There was something bigger happening. God was moving.”
