Regent University Freezes Tuition for 2021-22 Academic Year
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (April 26, 2021) – To help students recover from the financial impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, Regent University will freeze tuition for all classes in Fall 2021 through Summer 2022, both online and on campus. For three years in a row, Regent has locked tuition rates to keep degree programs affordable for students.
“Regent is deeply committed to providing an affordable, accessible, world-class education for all students,” said Dr. Gerson Moreno-Riaño, executive vice president for Academic Affairs at Regent University. “By freezing tuition for the 2021-22 academic year, we are helping students achieve their educational goals. We stand ready to provide the highest quality education that is accessible to all, both online and on campus in Virginia Beach.”
Students who enroll at Regent for the 2021-22 academic year will enjoy the same tuition rates as the 2020-21 and 2019-20 academic years. The university services fee for the 2021-22 academic year will have a modest $50 increase in order to provide enhanced student services, technology, and support.
“At Regent, we continue to invest in student success,” said Steve Bruce, vice president for Business Administration at Regent University. “Although tuition costs are climbing at other universities across the country, we’re keeping high-quality, affordable education within reach.”
Regent’s annual tuition is nearly $20,000 less than that of other private institutions (U.S. News & World Report, 2019-20). Additionally, Regent is among the top five percent of most affordable private Christian colleges and universities for bachelor’s programs (CCCU Tuition Survey, 2018).
