Regent Embarks on a New Global Partnership with Hebrew University
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (Oct. 10, 2022) – Regent University is pleased to announce its new global partnership with Hebrew University of Jerusalem, a public research university that was founded by Albert Einstein, and is now home to teaching hospitals, more than 100 research centers, and over 300 academic departments.
“Partnering with Israel’s premier academic and research institution advances Regent’s desire to impact lives across the globe,” said Dr. Josh McMullen, dean of the College of Arts & Sciences. “We know that our collaborative teaching programs will cultivate strong Christian leaders with the shared-knowledge base to transform the world.”
For now, this opportunity to spend a semester abroad at Hebrew University is exclusively available to Regent’s on campus undergraduate students. However, talks are underway on expanding the program to Regent’s online and graduate students, as well.
In addition, Hebrew University will provide a scholarship to each student who is accepted into the program.
The inaugural session in Spring 2023 is already filled. However, any students who are interested in applying for future sessions can do so by visiting https://webdev.regent.edu/study-abroad/hebrew-university/.
