The Leaders Gathering
This is the first catalytic event of the Galilean Movement. Hosted by Gordon Robertson, President and CEO of the Christian Broadcasting Network and Chancellor of the Regent University, together with the Galilean Movement Leadership Team. We are inviting distinguished leaders from USA-based Evangelical Denominations, Para-church Ministries, Missions, and Training Institutions to give feedback, contribute ideas, and share wisdom, as we prayerfully seek God in establishing the Movement’s roadmap.
The movement leaders will present the vision, mission, and strategic plans in calling churches and ministries around the world to exponentially increase the Galileans® to reach the billions of people who still need to make a decision for Christ.
The Galilean Movement upholds the indispensable role of Evangelical Denominations, Para-Church Ministries, Missions, and Training Institutions in providing needed training resources, tools, and strategies to see this vision fulfilled. The Leaders Gathering will be a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and inputs, and to set in place the action plan to execute this faith-stretching collaborative initiative.
WHAT IS A GALILEAN®?
They are Christlike harvest workers – women and men who are equipped (biblically trained), eligible (qualified), and empowered (approved) to serve in churches and para-church ministries. They are qualified according to the biblical standard set by Re-Forma or others.
The Galilean Movement is a catalyst that challenges the global church to exponentially increase the equipping of Galileans® in obedience to the mandates of the Lord Jesus Christ. Its mission: enjoin churches, ministries, and training institutions to multiply Galileans®. The Movement is led by a global team of mission leaders committed to the goal of raising 10 million Galileans® by 2033.
The Movement has a fourfold strategy, namely:
Compelling Advocacy – identify and call churches, ministries, and training institutions to accelerate the equipping of believers to be effective harvest workers
Collaborative Action – create a global network of national teams in respective countries led by a National Director who will convene and facilitate connections among leaders of churches, ministries, and training institutions for collective impact
Change Communication – promote a mindset and practices that offer innovative methodologies and tools that will accelerate the raising of Galileans®; and Capacity Building – build and strengthen the organization’s human and financial resources to be an effective backbone support for the Galilean Movement.
