Alan Vaughan, Ph.D.

Bio

Dr. Alan Vaughan serves as an assistant professor, primarily teaching classes in the Educational Leadership program and supervising the Administrative and Principal Internship programs. Additionally, he enjoys supervising Career Switchers and Special Education and Reading Specialist interns.

Dr. Vaughan has extensive experience working in teacher and administrator development and supervision. Before joining the Regent faculty, he retired from Chesapeake Public Schools after 37 years, where he served as a teacher, principal, director, and assistant superintendent. He has also served as an adjunct professor at several universities over the past 30 years.
