Meet Our Leaders

Anna Ord, Acting Dean of Regent University's College of Healthcare Sciences.

Anna Ord, Psy.D.
Dean, College of Health & Behavioral Sciences

Dr. Anna Ord serves as the Dean for the College of Health & Behavioral Sciences. Dr. Ord is a licensed clinical psychologist and a neuropsychologist. She completed her doctoral and post-doctoral training in a number of medical settings, including Eastern Virginia Medical School, Hampton Roads Neuropsychology, and W. G. Hefner Veterans Affairs Healthcare System (with an academic affiliation at Wake Forest School of Medicine). Dr. Ord’s teaching background includes neurobiology, physiological psychology, psychopathology, neuroanatomy, psychological and neuropsychological assessment, as well as statistics and research methods. Dr. Ord’s clinical work includes treating patients with a wide variety of medial, mental health, and neurological conditions from diverse demographic groups, as well as underserved populations. Dr. Ord’s research focuses on factors affecting neuropsychological functioning across the lifespan, including the role of modifiable lifestyle factors (such as sleep, nutrition, and exercise) in patients’ overall functioning and wellbeing.

Dr. Jamie Holland directs Regent’s School of Nursing and MSN program and expands her expertise in interprofessional, interdisciplinary and integrated healthcare as the director of her Research and Care Institute. Holland holds advanced practice board certifications as an Adult Geriatric Clinical Nurse Specialist and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. When she is not serving the university or the community at her mental health practice, she can be found on the beach or working with her puppy and future therapy dog, Rigatoni.

Theresa Ann Genetelli Long, DNP, FNP-BC, RN, CDE

Assistant Professor, College of Health & Behavioral Sciences

After earning a bachelor’s degree in environmental health from Rutgers University, Dr. Theresa Long received a Master of Science in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Virginia. She is board-certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and as a certified diabetes educator by the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators.
