Weather Update: Hurricane Dorian

Southeastern Virginia is currently under a tropical storm warning with heavy winds, rain, and flooding expected Thursday evening and in to Friday.

Due to expected weather conditions, Regent University will implement the following:

Regent University will close at 9 p.m. on Thursday, September 5.
Support services and activities beginning at or after 9 p.m. on Thursday are canceled.
Regent will be closed on Friday, September 6.
University offices and services normally open on Saturdays will resume activity on Saturday, September 7.

Be advised that a tropical storm can pose travel hazards, and conditions can vary widely throughout our region. Do not take unnecessary risks. If you are traveling to and from campus, please use your best judgment.
