Regent University Ranks #1 Best Online Bachelor’s Programs and #1 Best Online Graduate Education Programs by U.S. News & World Report
On Tuesday, January 9, U.S. News & World Report released its annual Best Online Program Rankings.
Several of Regent University’s online programs were listed among the best, with Regent’s College of Arts & Sciences (CAS) earning #1 Best Online Bachelor’s Programs, and Regent’s School of Education (SOE) earning #1 Best Online Graduate Education Programs in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Regent’s SOE ranked ahead of other universities such as the University of Virginia, George Mason University, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Liberty University.
Regent’s School of Business & Leadership earned #3 Best Online Graduate Programs (non-MBA) and #4 Best Online MBA Programs in Virginia.
“The 2018 U.S. News & World Report rankings stem from a major growth initiative Regent launched in 2015, where we strategically invested in many new career-oriented programs and student services in order to offer students a high quality education,” said Regent’s founder, chancellor and CEO, Dr. M.G. “Pat” Robertson. “Along with record, double-digit growth in enrollment for each of the last two years, these new rankings are yet another testament to these new programs and services at Regent.”
Regent also ranked well among its peers in the Southeast U.S. report, securing the #11 Best Online Bachelor’s Programs spot, coming ahead of universities such as Savannah College of Art and Design, University of North Carolina – Charlotte, and Texas A&M University – College Station.
Regent also landed in the Top 20 for Best Online Graduate Business Programs (non-MBA) and the Top 25 for Best Online Graduate Education Programs.

U.S. News & World Report is the “global authority” in education rankings to help engage the prospective students’ navigation of some 1,600 U.S.-based universities according to a release from the publication.
These rankings derive from an annual questionnaire sent to regionally accredited public, private and for-profit institutions. These institutions are evaluated on a point system based on their participation in categories such as student engagement, faculty credentials and training, student services and technology, admissions selectivity, and peer reputation.
