Regent University Redesigns Regent.edu Website

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (December 21, 2020) – Regent University is pleased to announce that its flagship website – webdev.regent.edu – has been updated with a new design.

“I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to University Marketing & Public Relations and Information Technology who made this excellent website redesign possible,” said Gerson Moreno-Riaño, executive vice president for Academic Affairs. “Your commitment to integrity, excellence, and innovation is evident in this state-of-the-art website. This beautiful new website will be a key linchpin to the university’s growth toward 20,000 students and beyond.”

The improved website will provide enhanced site speed and a streamlined user interface. The MyRegent portal – including Canvas, Genisys, and other internal applications – will remain unchanged. Site visitors can continue to access the MyRegent portal by clicking on “MyRegent” in the top right corner of webdev.regent.edu.

Over the course of several months, web designers and developers worked diligently to rebuild back-end databases and coding to ultimately improve site speed and performance. Additionally, the updated design scheme, inspiring visuals, and motivating content provide an enhanced website user experience.

“Our vision is to be the most influential, Christian, transformational university in the world,” said vice president for University Marketing & Public Relations, Claire Foster. “This newly redesigned website is a reflection of that mission, and of our deep, abiding commitment to Christian Leadership to Change the World.”
