Regent University’s high-quality Christian education is an affordable and wise investment. Our financial aid team will work closely with you to design an aid package that best suits your situation, including federal, state, private, and school-funded scholarships to help pay for college.

Freshman Merit-Based Scholarship (Up to $36,000 Value)

The Freshman Merit-Based Scholarship is proud to offer academic merit scholarships to our prestigious freshman applicants with fewer than 16 transferable college credits completed after high school graduation.

Freedom Scholarship ($10,000 Value)

The Freedom Scholarship will provide $5,000 annually in free housing for two years on Regent’s campus in Virginia Beach, Virginia—an award valued at $10,000. This scholarship can only be applied toward campus housing.

Honors College Scholarship ($8,000 Value)

Students that are formally admitted into the program receive a $2,000 annual scholarship, to be applied to tuition only. It may be combined with the Merit Scholarship and other financial aid.

Honors Bound Scholarships (Up to Full Tuition)

Honors College applicants will be invited to Honors Bound after a review of their complete application. During the event, students will be interviewed by the Honors College Admissions Committee. Students will be considered for acceptance into the Honors College and additional scholarship selection—including a full-tuition scholarship!

Church Matching Grant (Up to $12,000 Value)

The Church Matching Grant matches your church or ministry’s contribution to your education, dollar-for-dollar, up to $750 per semester. For fall and spring enrollment, this means you may be eligible to receive $1,500 from Regent University in conjunction with your church or ministry’s gift!

Homeschool Scholarship ($4,000 Value)

The Homeschool Scholarship offers $4,000 to all new on-campus college students who graduate from homeschool. Students will receive $1,000 toward tuition annually for four years.

Private School Scholarship ($4,000 Value)

Regent’s Private School Scholarship offers $4,000 to all new on-campus college students who graduate from a private high school. Students will receive $1,000 toward tuition annually for four years.

Legacy Grant ($2,000 Value)

Students who are a grandchild, child, or sibling of a CBN or Regent University alumnus are eligible to receive an award of $500 annually split between the fall and spring semesters.

Military Dependent Grant ($4,000 Value)

As a military-friendly school, Regent University recognizes that families are the “heroes at home” who love and support our servicemen and women defending our precious freedom. Children of military service members, reservists, or honorably discharged veterans and retirees may be eligible for a $1,000 grant annually.

Investment Grant ($9,800 Average Value)

At Regent University, our students are cherished, and we recognize that financial need is a big factor regarding education. This grant is designed to cover gaps between financial aid availability and predetermined estimates of individual financial needs. The amount will vary depending on university-determined financial needs and FASFA information.

ROTC Discount ($38,880 Value)

We are dedicated to assisting our ROTC students with pursuing their dreams by offering a reduced tuition rate of $250 per credit hour.

Eligible Students:

College Program Army students
Navy ROTC students
Students cross-registered each semester for a military science course at ODU; participating in all ROTC activities as defined by the ODU Cadre

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship ($4,000 Value)

Students inducted in Phi Theta Kappa prior to admission with a 3.0 GPA are eligible to receive an award of up to $1,000 annually, split between the fall and spring semesters.

NOAA & USPHS Discount ($38,800 Value)

Current and former National Oceanic, Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), or the United States Public Health Service (USPHS) officers are eligible to receive a reduced tuition rate of $250 per credit hour.

National Merit Competition Scholarship ($57,760 Value)

National Merit Finalists are eligible to receive a 100% tuition scholarship.

National Merit Semi-finalists are eligible to receive a $10,000 tuition scholarship.

NCFCA Scholarship ($34,440 Value)

Regent is proud to offer a 50% tuition discount to champions of the National Christian Forensics and Communications Association (NCFCA). Champions in the following categories are eligible:
